VIDEO: UK & UofL fan fight, then UofL fans turn on each other
Maybe we were just depressed about the loss and distracted by Christmas, but somehow, this video of a fight at the UK/UofL game got lost in the shuffle last week. Hat tip to Busted Coverage for tipping us off to this video of a group of Louisville fans going after a UK fan, and then, for some reason, turning on each other:

The more times I watch this, the odder it gets. Let’s break it down in GIF form:
Inquiring minds must know, why did the Louisville fan in gray turn on his fellow fan? Is he friends with the UK fan? Or did some bizarre instinct just kick in and he saw a fight and just had to get himself a piece of it?

Louisville fans are so obnoxious even they can’t stand each other. I went to the women’s basketball game at Yum this year and the Louisville fan sitting beside me exchanged heated words with the Louisville fan sitting behind us. And his wife had words with another Louisville fans a few rows back.
Maybe the UK & UofL fans were there together.
Dude with the Howard Stern hairdo got his ass kicked – by a fellow UofL fan. They are like sharks in a feeding frenzy.

Why would you go to Texas or Michigan over Kentucky, Duke or Kansas? Maybe the NCAA should try to find out. 😉 I have always said that the trolls who try to claim that Cal has to be cheating to get all these players should turn their attention to teams like Miss St and LSU getting one-and-done players.

looks to me like 2 families are fighting. The guy in blue knocks down the older man in dark grey, before the mans wife runs over and tells him to stop. The guy in the blue then goes over and protects the older couple on the far left. meanwhile to women (iassume sisters/daughters of each side) are fighting before being broken up.
That one woman trying to hold back the dude in gray definitely has a child in a carrier strapped to her back. Super classy and smart decision making, Louisville mom…
This is why I would never go to the YUM center to watch the rivalry game. There is nothing to be gained; win or lose, you have to be uber tolerant of the uavelians. They are inherently a lesser class of fan prone to mouthing off, quarreling and or targetting BBN – regardless – incapable of acting like they’ve been there before.
