Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery are calling the game tomorrow

Tomorrow’s game is part of the CBS Sports Classic, so the network’s breaking out the big guns for the event. Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery will call the game for CBS, with Allie LaForce handling sideline duties. (If you’re upset I didn’t use a picture of her, you also realize you can Google too, right?)

Verne may be lovable, but to me, Raftery is still the best. The ðŸ if you are up your emojis. Raftery’s an epic figure to me, so much so that having a drink with him (or even just down the bar from him) is on my bucket list. I still find his notes from the 2014 Final Four in Dallas fascinating:

Bill Raftery’s style is sooo exhausting. He will forever simply sound like he’s calling the game from a garbled predetermined personal Mad Lib schematic.
