Ulis and Booker are TBD for Saturday

Devin Booker (knee) and Tyler Ulis (illness) did not play tonight against Columbia and it’s no sure thing they’ll be back by Saturday for North Carolina. Coach Cal said they will sit out again against the Tar Heels if they do not practice tomorrow.

If Booker is out Saturday, Cal said Derek Willis will play two-guard in the white platoon.

“He was really good today.”

Willis had five points and one rebound in nine minutes tonight. While that was a steady performance, let’s hope Ulis and Booker get healthy and are ready to go.

Ugh, if Ulis doesn’t play we could be in trouble. There’s no way Andrew or Aaron can guard Paige. Maybe put WCS on him? 🙂

We need Ulis and Booker to play Saturday, and they will play.
