Kentucky is the away team tonight at Madison Square Garden, which means they’ll wear the blue away jerseys for the first time. @KentuckyMBB just tweeted a sneak peek of the unis in Kentucky’s “locker room” at MSG:

I’m going to wait until I see them on the players to judge for certain, but…man. Maybe I’m just used to the white ones now, but that is jarring.

You beat me to it. That “locker room” looks like it fell out of 1970.
That’s because it isn’t a locker room. They do not let teams use the Knicks locker room, therefore neither can one team get the visitor’s room out of fairness. Plus, there are 4 teams so they need four rooms. These are storage/temporary locker “areas”.
We do the same in Rupp, but even our visitor’s and alternate locker rooms are way better than those.
Its missing something. Shouldnt they take kentucky off the front and instead put Secretariat? They could even do it in checkerboard lettering!

Tell anyone in MSG not a Kentucky fan that we are forever worshipping Secretariat with those uniforms, and they’d laugh their ass off. And I’m a Secretariat worshipper. Just doesn’t meld with me.

I don’t care if they wear plain white or blue potato sacks. As long as the players are comfortable this is he least important thing in the season.
Was at BW3’s watching the game. Everybody was commenting on how awesome that uniform combo looked. Pretty sharp!
