It’s going to take a much better effort from everyone in Kentucky blue if the Cats plan to escape Los Angeles with a win. UCLA leads 37-29 at the half after very poor shooting from the visiting squad in the first 20 minutes.
Time to put that first half in the rearview and turn it on. Kentucky is the better team, but Kentucky hasn’t been Kentucky in this one.

You can’t blame the refs for UK’s lack of offensive flow or their inability to contain UCLAin the paint or their failure to close out on jump shooters. That’s on the team.

Parker could have fouled out in any of five series in the first half. So yes, the refs do have some responsibility for our offensive flow.

without lee, we just got pushed around the entire game inside the paint. lost a little bit of respect for bilas today, he said two or three really dumb things throughout the broadcast (one being that he didn’t understand why kentucky is settling with threes even though lee was out and poy was on the bench with foul trouble)…
lee will be back by wed and ulis will be better conditioned (hopefully)… we’re going to be fine. ucla on the other hand will still be lead by a piece of crap alford that isn’t that good but caught fire against us tonight…
