It wil be very telling if Kentucky still has 2 non believers in the coaches poll after Arizona’s loss.

USA Today Coaches Poll is out. UK got 30 votes again. One person still voted for Duke as the #1 team. It appears that the other person (who presumably was voting for Arizona previously) didn’t bother to vote because there are only 31 votes for 1st place this week.

I see our little brother moved down 1 spot. I have never understood why a close loss to #1 by #4 means the lower ranked team drops. Isn’t that the way it is supposed to be, that the higher ranked team edges out the other top 5 team?

It’s not that they moved down. UV just moved up.

So assuming we run the table in the SEC, that would give us another 10 weeks at #1. So we will make it a real tight race closing that gap between us and Duke. We can’t lose an SEC game or they will move Duke from 2 to 1, allowing them to build their all-time #1 lead.
