In a game against a pair of D-I signees, future Kentucky point guard Quade Green did not disappoint.
Known for his second half heroics, Green once again proved he has the clutch gene, scoring 24 of his 37 points in the second half against Rhode Island signee Daron Russell and South Carolina signee David Beatty to lead his team to an 87-73 win. Green got his 37 points on 11-19 shots, 4-8 threes and 11 of 14 free throws. He also had 6 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 assists.
Green rocked Kentucky blue before the game, and even pulled out a modified bow-and-arrow after knocking down a trey.
