Have the coaches that rated UL #8 actually watched them play against a team that has any sort of athletic ability? Just curious.

UL still at 8th? Good lord– I see why no one uses the Coaches poll anymore now. What a total joke it is.

With the announcement that Ware is out and Chane is gone how can the coaches in good faith keep the Cards that high? Not that I care because there be a lot of movement for many of the teams in the next six weeks–point being, these coaches don’t watch games or lay attention. They simply look at each team’s weekly W-L and mail it in.

Holy crap. Posting a comment on an iPad while talking on the phone and driving down the road is not a good idea if you try to avoid typos. Just thought I would share that with everyone to avoid the same mistake.

So Villanova has wins over Kansas and Iowa (ranked opponents), and UL has ZERO good wins! Villanova has 1 loss and UL has 2, but Nova is 2 spots behind UL in the coaches poll?

Do the coaches even pay attention to what is going on?

I’ll say it again this week. Screw the coaches poll! I’m surprised UK didn’t drop a few spots since they didn’t win any games last week.

Well, there goes UL’s chance at a quality win in-conference. First stumble on the road for them will likely send them almost out of the top-25. Year of the Cardinal is OVER!

UL at 8 is ludicrous…even more so the fact that they actually moved up 2 spots from 10 on the previous poll to this week. Were the coaches confused about who won our game, Chane leaving and Ware red-shirting? Goodness gracious.

The SEC is so weak. It looks like UK, Florida and Mizzouri are the only safe tournament teams (and now that the SEC is 14 teams that is terrible). I’d imagine that one or two teams will play well in conference play and find their way in. I’d guess Arkansas gets in. After that unless a team shows something they haven’t so far the SEC would be lucky to get 5 in the field. Thank goodness it doesn’t really matter in basketball.

I see Kentucky losing at most 3-4 games in SEC play including the SEC tournament and ending up with either a 2 or 3-seed. The only games that should be tough are @Florida and @Mizzou. Kentucky should be favored by 5 or more in every other game.

So now Duke is the best 3-loss team according to the coaches?

WTH is happening in Lawrence, KS? They have the best player in the world!

I don’t see Wednesday’s game listed as being shown in Louisville. Even on SEC Network site, it does;t list a Louisville station for this week.

Coaches don’t have time to watch all these games, they got enough to worry about their own teams. This poll should be eliminated.

I realize San Diego St is ranked but how does Kansas just drop a couple spots after losing at home? Uvel ranked 8? Coaches poll almost as much of a joke as uvels douche bag a.d.
