UK moved up four spots in the USA Today coaches poll

Kentucky made a much bigger leap in the USA Today coaches poll this week, moving from No. 16 to No. 12 in the updated rankings. The top seven spots are no different than the AP poll except Michigan State somehow managed to pick up a first place vote from someone.

    Seriously, having Duke ranked speaks volumes to the validity of both polls.

    Baylor must have been very unimpressive this week after rising to 7th.
    Same for Ohio St.
    Duke falls about the same amount as the 2 above, but they are not good. Parker as your best big man?

    Coaches poll is meaningless AP is what counts.

      the polls are meaningless… well they’re barely factored in… but BPI and RPI is what matters the most when factoring seeds and who gets in, who’s out and Kentucky is in the top 10 in BPI

    Neither poll means squat, college basketball sucks. Bunch of uncaring inexperienced show me the money freshmen, ruined the sport of college basketball same as NASCAR and other sports, it’s all about the money, a sorry sad country we have become…
