UK confirms Alex Poythress is out tonight

This won’t be news if you heard Scoop Lemond on the pregame show, but UK just confirmed that Alex Poythress is out of tonight’s game with a knee injury. Alex didn’t play vs. Florida either, and according to Ryan, he had a minor procedure and will be out 10-14 days.

Hopefully the Cats can continue to take care of business without him.

    As someone whose also from Clarksville, I’m a big fan of Alex. These constant injuries from his though are getting to repetitive. I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes undrafted and then gives us basketball in its entirety after a few years due to injuries.
