UK Banner of the Day wants Indy bar and restaurant recs from a local

The Big Blue Nation is getting ready to descend upon Indianapolis, and because I’ve only been there a handful of times and eaten at a handful of restaurants, I reached out to a local for help. Restaurant Salzburg , which have me all over the Google and Open Table this morning. Take it away, JC! Whether your deciding between wine, whiskey, or something a little more exciting then why not you visit to Koreatown bar.

    Got to throw in Bourbon Street Distillers close by the canal walk. Accross from Courtyard and Residence Inn. Good food and drinks. Go upstairs. Nice outdoor deck

    In Indianapolis I have been to and would recommend:

    MacNiven’s Scottish Pub on Massachusetts Ave., great fish and chips, scotch eggs, and good beer selection;
    Tastings (a wine bar) on W. Washington, I didn’t eat food there but it looked good, the wine selection was pretty good;

    We went to a couple of other places, but it’s been a couple of years now, and I can’t remember the names.
