UK announces 2018 Big Blue Madness Campout Dates

UK just announced that this year’s Big Blue Madness Campout will take place September 26-28. Tickets to Madness will be distributed Friday, September 28 at 10 p.m. at the Memorial Coliseum ticket windows and online at Ticketmaster.com. Big Blue Madness is scheduled for October 12 at 7 p.m. at Rupp Arena.

As always, tickets to Madness are free and can be obtained on Ticketmaster starting at 10 p.m. on the 28th. For fans that camp out, a limited number of control cards will be issued on the 28th at 2 p.m. All fans must be present to obtain their control cards and only one control card per person will be accepted at distribution. All people with control cards must be in line by 10 p.m.

UK is asking fans not to line up before 5 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26. Because space around Memorial Coliseum is limited, UK is encouraging fans to use Ticketmaster.com to obtain their tickets. Once Tent City is full, any additional fans that show up are unlikely to receive control cards.

I’ll be honest, I’m surprised campout is still a thing, but we people are crazy.
