Tyler Ulis working out for the Denver Nuggets today

Tyler Ulis is among the six NBA draft hopefuls in Denver today for the Nuggets’ fourth pre-draft workout. He is joined by Stephen Zimmerman, Malcolm Brogdon, Juan Hernangomez, Diamond Stone and another point guard, Demetrius Jackson of Notre Dame fame.

Denver holds the No. 7, 15 and 19 picks in the upcoming draft, as well as two second-round picks. It’s very unlikely Ulis will go seventh overall, but if he were to impress at today’s workout, he could earn that No. 15 or 19 spot with Denver, to fill the void at backup point guard behind Emmanuel Mudiay.

BSN Denver wrote, “The Nuggets, armed with three first round picks and two second round picks, certainly have the ammo to get Ulis if they feel he’s their guy.”

Tyler is the best player in the draft. Any team should take him ASAP. Where did Curry go?

Even though I live in Colorado I hope Tyler does not end up with the Nuggets. The only thing that matters to the sports fans and media in Colorado is the Denver Broncos (Donkeys) and even during March Madness the Donkeys dominate the sports news. Tyler deserves to go to a team that has fans that love basketball. Colorado fans think a field goal is something you kick.

Probably because march madness has nothing to do with the NBA and there’s not really any good college teams from out there to root for. I know lots of people out in Colorado who love the nuggets, obviously the Broncos are going to be more popular as they’re one of the best teams in the league currently and therefore have everyone jumping on the bandwagon. Think all the UL fans who never cared back before they were relevant in anything

I have asked U. of Colorado alums whether they would rather have the Buffaloes win a national champion in football/basketball or the Donkeys win a Super Bowl. Their answer is always for the Donkeys to win.
