Tyler Ulis named Wayman Tisdale Freshman of the Week

Another day, another accolade for our little waterbug. Congrats to Tyler Ulis, who was named Wayman Tisdale Freshman of the Week by the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) for his performance against Louisville. Ulis scored a career-high 14 points and dished out two assists with zero turnovers against the Cardinals, all while taking an elbow to the eye from Chris Jones. Ulis was also named SEC Freshmen of the Week yesterday.
Ulis is the first Wildcat to earn the Wayman Tisdale Freshman of the Week honor since James Young on December 31 last year, following a huge game against…you guessed it, Louisville. Something about that rivalry…

Aaron Harrison, according to Dakari, has some big balls. Poor Tyler, not sure how he even walks around.
