Slice didn’t have a lot to offer to the Tyler Ulis situation today but he did say he saw Ulis dressed for practice on his way to talk to the media.
“Okay, day-to-day,” Slice told reporters.
Dominique Hawkins said Ulis practiced before the Eastern Kentucky game but Hawkins was told during shootaround that he would take over Ulis’ role in the white platoon.
“I had no idea until shootaround,” Hawkins said. “It was a good surprise.”
I guess we’ll find out tomorrow night if Ulis is good to go against Columbia or if he’ll sit a second consecutive game. It’s a good sign that he’s back to practicing again today.

I would love to have Ulis back, but for the record, I thought Hawkins played very well in our last game.
Wish they’d keep the sick kids away from the team for a bit. Hope more guys aren’t sick for NC!
^ Same thing I was thinking. First Willis, then POY and now Ulis .
