It was Tyler Ulis versus Anthony Davis on this morning’s show to decide who will meet Karl-Anthony Towns in our beloved player tournament. In the end, it was Ulis with the runaway victory over Davis, arguably the best player in the history of the program.
Tomorrow’s show will decide the ultimate winner: Ulis or Towns. Matt, Ryan, Shannon, the callers and Twitterers will again decide the victor.
You have an entire day to think it over. It won’t be easy.

Love Ulis but we live in a what have you done for me lately world. Davis won us a title. You know, those things that we salivate over.
It’s not best player. It’s “Most Beloved”. That can encompass a lot of factors besides just game performance. That can take into account interviews, legacy, and even intangibles like relatability.
I’m not sure relatability is a basketball intangible. Just say we are the same height so it’s cool that he has been successful at uk. He is a good player that ksr has turned into a legend for some reason. It’s okay.
Yea i understand that, Sentient Third Eye….point is the ones that win championships for us go down in UK lore, lets do this again in 5 years and see if we get the same result…..
I was able to love Ulis in a UK jersey longer. Plus Towns wasn’t nearly as great at the beginning of his freshman year as he was by the end. Ulis was pretty amazing the whole time…advantage, Ulis.
