Tyler Herro talks his two big games on “Behind Kentucky Basketball”

The latest “Behind Kentucky Basketball” podcast features Tyler Herro.

CoachCal.com editor TJ Beisner sits down with Herro to discuss the team’s trip to the Bahamas and Herro’s big start to his Kentucky basketball career.

The biggest difference between game one and two was nerves:

“I think just getting our first game under our belt. A lot of nerves. We have a few veterans, but I mean it was still nerve racking for them. Cause you know first game in the Bahamas and we’re supposed to be one of the best teams in the country. So I think getting that under our belt that gave us a little but more experience and now we know what to expect.”

The podcast also features Coach Cal’s postgame speech to the team after the San Lorenzo de Almagro game.

The word hero is to be spelled with two r’s from now on. So let it be written, so let it be done!
