Two-seed North Carolina crushed by Texas A&M in the Round of 32

First it was Michigan State, now it’s North Carolina.

Seven-seed Texas A&M absolutely throttled two-seed North Carolina this afternoon by a final score of 86-65, knocking them out in the Round of 32.

This sequence best describes the bloodletting A&M put on the Tar Heels:

Joel Berry, Theo Pinson, and possibly Luke Maye’s careers end in embarrassment.

Should’ve gone to class, I guess.

SEC basketball: It just means more.

If the Auburn game keeps up like it is right now the only 2 SEC teams left will be the two that had four game losing streaks this year. Wow!

This one was NOT a shocker. UNC overrated and over seeded. 10 losses. I will say it again, UK is the only team in the nation who is incapable of improving their seed by winning a conference tournament. UNC was apparently battling Virginia for a ONE seed a week ago. Lol. What a joke! What a crock! Bye Heels….John Higgins ain’t walking thru that door this year

You don’t want to talk about the SEC team that beat UNC?

Yeah i will. Im with the sec its just stupid to pump your chest out for conference sake. I was just stating Auburn has been terrible lately

Roy threw the game so the kids could get back in class as they have been away for a while, like 30 years.

Unc was overrated obviously. Good team and good players, but they just peaked too early. I like my team also. UK is still learning…which is good, they’re still making strides and it’s going into sweet 16 with some serious momentum!

    Down goes Cincy!

We are now the top seed in our region as a 5. Possible opponents are 9, 16, 7, and 11.

It’s worse than “should’ve gone to class”. It’s “should’ve gone to a school that has classes”!

Try telling this fanbase a month ago that we would be the top seed in our region heading into the 2nd weekend.

Now if only somebody will take out Duke.

By the way I wonder if Pat Forde will bitch because Duke’s first three games are against a #15, #7 and #11 seed? Somehow I don’t think so!

That’s only the second time UNC has ever lost an NCAA game in the state of No. Carolina. The last time was in 1979.

K-State is small but quick. Looks to me like they are 2-6 against common opponents, we are 4-1. It’s not Moses and the Red Sea but it was a pretty fortuitous parting of the bracket! Then Nevada or Loyola? If we don’t look ahead we are back in San Antonio! Who would’ve thought it? It’s been 20 years… time for another trip to San Antonio.

They will be a much better team if Wade plays against us. He is their best player making shots from anywhere.

I wanted to play Carolina this year. If we get a fair whistle against them – admittedly, a big “if” – we would have throttled them.
