Two Gonzaga players out due to COVID protocols but today’s game is still on?

We knew this college basketball season would be a mess due to COVID-19, but this morning, we’re getting a real taste of just how confusing and chaotic it may be.

Yesterday, No. 1 Gonzaga beat No. 6 Kansas 102-90 in the Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off, looking every bit like the best team in the country. This morning, news broke that two Gonzaga players were quarantining in their hotel rooms, but today’s game vs. Auburn — which JUST tipped off — would still be played. Huh?! Gonzaga issued a statement saying that the two players are out today “per tournament guidelines and COVID-19 protocols,” meaning they didn’t necessarily test positive and could have just been in close contact with someone who did.

College basketball writers on Twitter are on the case, singling out freshmen Dominick Harris and Julian Strawther.

Meanwhile, this video of Gonzaga celebrating Mark Few’s 600th win in the locker room is making the rounds even though it was deleted from the Bulldogs’ official Twitter account. The group includes Strawther (No. 0):

We’ll keep you updated as this develops. You can see Gonzaga vs. Auburn on FOX right now.

Just let them all get it now. The media is praising the herd immunity in New York after Cuomo murdered all those old people, so let kids who can’t die from it get it now so we have the tourney.

What a joke! Players sweating all over each other on the floor but have to wear masks on the sidelines. Must be the smartest virus known to man, only infects people not on the court.

In other news, Gonzaga is giving Auburn a proper thrashing, Zags look really good today and against KU.

Does look like Gonzaga is worthy of being the #1 ranked team in the country. The Zags are an offensive clinic and their defense isn’t bad.

And Suggs is the real deal.

You really don’t understand accumulation of risk?

If I may distill your philosophy, if you can’t be perfectly safe, there’s no point in being safe at all? That’s about the level of intelligence I expected.

TBW is right, even the CDC, who all you maskers trust, the same as admitted they lied about 98% of the deaths. I would bet the number percentage is even higher.

Any other lies you guys want to spread?

For the sake of your loved ones, I hope you just lie about the virus online and actually behave appropriately out in the real world so you’re not contributing to the spread.

Even if young people very rarely die, all the coaches, refs, announcers, and countless other people required to play these games or who might interact with the players are not immune. And a few players probably have conditions that could cause them to suffer permanent damage or death if they get the virus (diabetes, asthma, and other manageable conditions).

Just stop spreading your lies, listen to the people with a lifetime of medical and scientific knowledge, and maybe we can get back to more normalcy.

Problem is those same people with a lifetime of medical and scientific knowledge have been paid off with federal money to code deaths caused by every reason known to man as covid. Many people who really needed medical attention died while all the empty hospitals were shut down waiting for the thousands of covid infected patients who never showed up, like the makeshift Nutter Field House setup that went unused. It’s not hard to find if you look ANYWHERE besides the govt controlled msm. Personally I’ve learned a lot from some of those trained medical personnel, you could too if you could overcome your indoctrination and get outside your bubble.

Han, please explain all the conflicting messages we get from the “experts”, including on the efficacy, or lack thereof, of masks. While you’re at it, how about commenting on the people who die from things like a motorcycle accident being attributed to Corona. One more: what are your feelings on the number of leftists violating their own lockdown orders? The Denver mayor is only the latest statist hypocrite in a long line.

One more thing: all these conflicting messages prove that, despite what Biden says, there is no such thing as “THE science”.

And, we should have known better than to schedule a Michigan team; someone sneezes, and they shut everything down.

Well my wife is a Type 1 diabetic. She’s been insulin dependent since turning 5. We had been taking precautions to make sure she doesn’t catch COVID. Thankfully, after reading this board, I realize that it’s pointless to take precautions. Thank you for clearing that up.
