Trey Lyles’ dad released a new song called “BBN”

Tom Lyles, recording artist and father of Trey Lyles, released a new single recently that I think you’re going to like. It is called “BBN” and it’s about the greatness that is Kentucky basketball and its fan base. Lyles wrote the song last March while watching the Cats’ run through the SEC and NCAA Tournaments and he’s excited to see what this new group has in store in 2014-15.

So check out his song, download it, and listen to it as you watch UK chase a ninth banner this year. You can hear a sample at any of the three links below:

UK fans don’t sip on 40s, for the most part. You must be thinking of your friends at the dirty bird pizza house.

I deem this song as the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Wow.

I love it. Sounds like Nelly. If you can’t understand it then you can’t understand how we win championships. In other words, you’re from the smelly river city.

This Cat likes it and the SEC network should put it on their promo for us going forward.

You can’t get enough pub for the BBN!

Spoken like true louisville fans… Go complain on whatever fan site your team has… It seems like card fans just camp out on ksr just looking to troll all the time. Shouldn’t you all be on your team site talking about how the cards are the best college football team in the land and how your going to win the championship. And how no other team is even close to being as good as the cards… lol

I’ve slowly fallen away from the rap scene as I’ve gotten older, but this isn’t half bad – I’d like to see all you haters tryin to put something together that sounds half as good as this. I’m not saying he should win any awards for it – but it’s not a bad beat or lyrics – if you are a true BBN fan you should appreciate his efforts in representing the BBN. He’s proud of his son being at Kentucky and using his talents to show it. I applaud the guy for his work.

I’m buying it whether it is good or great. He is our BBN family, and I want to show some love.

If he had committed to ul and wrote a song about them, it would be the new Louisville theme somf. They would go crazy.
