Towns: “I’ll never get to play with a Willie Cauley-Stein again”

Rob Bromley sat down with Kentucky’s two big men after today’s press conference to discuss what it was like playing alongside each other for one season at UK.

Cauley-Stein raved about Towns’ skills, saying they were the perfect match inside because, “He did things I couldn’t do and I did things he couldn’t do.”

Towns then said moving on is hard because he knows he will never play with another talent like Willie Cauley-Stein.

Before the interview concluded, Cauley-Stein assured Bromley and the fans watching at home that he will be making several returns trips to Lexington. Towns, too.

Sorry, you don’t get to have it both ways. I don’t want to hear any of them whining about ‘I wont get to do this, or do that’. It was your decision, stick by it.
And good luck to all the kids.

LOVE Willie and Karl and think they done an outstanding job at UK. They have to look ahead to their future but we can look forward to them coming “home” from time to time! Forever a UK Wildcat we hope!
