We don’t always send you to other websites — we like you to stick around here — but occasionally we see something you need to read. Like this Skal Labissiere story on Yahoo! today. It’s good. It’s very good.
The author, Marc J. Spears, retells the story of Skal’s tragic childhood in Haiti when an earthquake that killed more than 200,000 people trapped him under rubble in his own home. Of course, Skal survived, thankfully, and he will soon become a member of Kentucky’s basketball team.
He’s pretty good at this basketball thing, too.
So take a second to read this story if you’re unfamiliar with it. Or read it anyway if you are.
