Today on KSR, powered by Lextran: Mizzou comes to town

A message from our friends at Lextran:

Heading to the game? Hop on the Lextran football shuttle to Kroger Field! Lextran operates shuttle service during every UK home football game from downtown and campus. The service begins three hours prior to kick-off and runs for 30 minutes after the start of the game. Shuttle will pick back up at the beginning of the 4th quarter. Pay $1 each way onboard the bus. Please have exact change! Further details can be found at!

The Missouri game is almost here

It’s homecoming weekend, and the Missouri Tigers are on their way to town. Given Mizzou’s struggles on defense, confidence should be high amongst Kentucky fans, but last weekend’s lackluster win over Eastern Michigan has some a wee bit worried about the Tigers, who are coming off a bye week. Kentucky opened as a 14.5-point favorite, but it’s been bet down to 9.5. Can the Cats finally get the BIG win we’ve all been waiting for? That remains to be seen, but this hype video has me ready:

Get ðŸ‘ The ðŸ‘ Ball ðŸ‘ To ðŸ‘ Conrad ðŸ‘ More

Also get it to this guy…

Lynn Bowden wants to see a packed house tomorrow

Considering the explosive freshman has yet to have a negative play in blue and white, lets give him what he wants, okay?

More UK Basketball Player Previews

We’ll be wrapping up our 2017-18 previews today with Brad Calipari and Tai Wynyard. If you’ve missed any of them along the way, catch up below:

John Calipari | Kevin Knox | Hamidou Diallo | Wenyen Gabriel | Quade Green | PJ Washington | Jemarl Baker | Nick Richards | Shai Alexander | Jarred Vanderbilt

No UNC report today after all

Turns out the NCAA’s final report on UNC won’t come out today after all due to “scheduling circumstances.” We now look to Fake Barney for a live reaction:

It’s okay, Barnes. You can still make fun of the fact that, while awaiting word on their own scandal, the Tar Heels accepted a commitment from Nassir Little, one of the recruits tied to the college basketball bribery scandal. It only makes sense!

I’ll catch you up on the latest recruiting developments

The recruiting landscape is never stable, but there have been several interesting developments regarding Kentucky’s 2018 class this week. I’ll sum them all up for you later this afternoon.

UK’s Pro Day is Sunday

Need a basketball fix? UK’s Pro Day is Sunday, and from 7-9 p.m., you can get your first glimpse of the Cats on the SEC Network. Here, let Kevin Knox and Nick Richards tell you:

Can you believe Madness is in a week? Me neither.

Hey, did Louisville win last night?

Nope! Not only that, they gave up a touchdown to NC State with only 10 players on the field:

And Lamar Jackson sealed the win for NC State with this pick six:

Shoutout to NC State fans for that “FBI” chant, nice coarse salt in a fresh wound. Anyone feel sorry for the Cards yet? (The answer is no.)

KSR is in Cold Spring this morning

Come on out to Barleycorn’s to enjoy the show.

NC State did everything they possible could not to win that game by 4 TD’s. Louisville just isn’t very good. Could have easily been a 50-24 type game.

UK beat South Carolina, SC beat NC State, NC State beat Louisville, ergo UK already has already beaten Louisville again.

Seriously, Louisville is weak at 21/22 positions this year and UK is better at almost all of them (at least when we stop running the wildcat 3 straight plays…).

funniest thing was the guy running over Jackson to get in the endzone. He should have done a Heisman pose after that.

How smart was it for Jackson to try to make that tackle? The game was OVER.

Respect that more than Cam Newton not going for his fumble against Denver…he wouldn’t have tried to make a tackle either.

Lamar wants to be a one man team on offense. Ball hog.

Let’s hope Bowden gets his wish Saturday, because there sure were a shit ton of empty seats at the Eastern Michigan game.
