University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Today on KSR: More Roster Moves?

To say Kentucky’s basketball roster is a fluid situation would be an understatement.  In the first two days of the week we’ve seen a pair of five-star commitments, two transfers and an NBA Draft declaration.  Even Dillon Pulliam is making moves. Here’s a look at next year’s roster as of right now:

  • Quade Green
  • Jemarl Baker
  • Nick Richards
  • Brad Calipari
  • Jonny David
  • Keldon Johnson
  • Tyler Herro
  • Immanuel Quickley
  • E.J. Montgomery
  • Ashton Hagans (if he clears reclassification)

Four others are currently up in the air.  P.J. Washington is testing the NBA Draft waters.  Hamidou Diallo and Jarred Vanderbilt are still contemplating their NBA options.  Wenyen Gabriel will reportedly decide by next week.  His brother said Gabriel will leave if there’s a first round guarantee, something he will not likely find.  However, Gabriel refuted that report on Twitter.

It’s been a wild start to the week.  At this point, nothing should surprise you.

More Chair-Backs Coming to Kroger Field

Kentucky’s football stadium is slowly adding more seats with backs.  If you sit between sections 204-208, you’ll be much more comfortable this fall.  The project will begin following the Blue/White Game.

Beautiful Blue/White Game Weather

Friday’s weather looks too good to be true.  Two days away, forecasters currently predict it to be sunny and 75 when the Kentucky football Spring Game starts at 6:30 inside Kroger Field.  It doesn’t get any better than that.

There’s a New Depth Chart Podcast

With a new logo too.  Listen to it before you go to Friday’s Blue/White Game.

Register for the Go Big Blue Four-Miler

Saturday morning the UK athletic facilities will open their doors to the public for a four mile fun run across campus.  Not only is it a rare opportunity to see everything UK has to offer, you’ll get free tickets to a UK baseball and softball game after kicking Ryan Lemond’s ass.  Do yourself a favor and register here.

UK Baseball is at Western Carolina

The first leg of the four-game road trip is against a team Nick Mingione used to coach.  The first pitch of a big win is tonight at 5:00.

Nick, you forgot to add the 8:30 announcement of a 5 star basketball player committing. It’s part of my morning routine now.

Kyle Tucker from SEC country is reporting that Washington, Vanderbilt and Gabriel will all return to Kentucky. He is reporting that there are no plans for any new additions

Tucker was the same guy that broke the news early yesterday morning that two more additions were possible for him to change his mind in one day, it would seem that he is pretty confident

“Of those three, one source close to the program predicts (without specifying) that two return to school and one leaves.” Where does it say there that all three are returning? It clearly says 2 of the 3 are returning.

Pj is still a wildcard. He’s projected right now at #47. There’s belief if he’s promised a #35 or better spot, he’ll stay, but there’s not much belief he’ll get that promise

We all seem to believe Hami is gone, has anything official been said?

Believe it or not Terry Bradshaw gets six figures for public speaking. Sheesh. No thanks. I can hear that blabber mouth on TV.

Nick, from everything I’ve gathered so far, reports seem to suggest there is a likelihood that we lose one of PJ/Wenyen/Vando and that Cal’s back up is Stanford big man Reid Travis. Any chance Cal looks at Mike Daum out at South Dakota St?

To phrase that a little differently, what is the extent of our involvement with Mike Daum, if any?
