Good morning, everyone. Did you know there’s a Kentucky Women’s Basketball game in two hours? Oh yes, at 11 a.m., Matthew Mitchell’s No. 14 Wildcats will host Charlotte on “Winning Tools Education Day Wednesday,” meaning that over 1,000 local elementary school students will pack Memorial Coliseum for some lunchtime basketball fun. Get ready for the high-pitched screaming!
The Cats are 7-0 so far this season and led by sophomore star Rhyne Howard, who is averaging 17.9 points and 6.1 rebounds per game with a team-best 19 made three-pointers. Senior guard Sabrina Haines is averaging 11 points per game with 5.4 rebounds per game and leads the SEC in 3-point field-goal percentage at 46.7 percent. Speaking of threes, Kentucky’s made 25 of them in the last three games. That’s pretty good.
The game will be streamed on the SEC Network+ and WatchESPN with Jeff Piecoro and Christi Thomas on the call. Because the game begins at 11 a.m. and will be broadcast on the UK Sports Network on 630AM WLAP, today’s edition of KSR will only be 45 minutes long, so be sure to get your fill of Ryan, Drew, and Shannon from 10-10:45 a.m.

How do the new playoff rankings affect Kentucky’s bowl?
The latest College Football Playoff rankings were revealed last night, and after the Iron Bowl, both Auburn and Alabama are outside of the top ten, coming in at No. 11 and No. 12, respectively, which could knock Kentucky out of the Gator Bowl
“New Playoff rankings hurt Kentucky,” Matt Jones tweeted last night. “If Alabama or Auburn don’t end up getting into the Top 10, Kentucky unlikely to end up in the Gator Bowl. Completely changes the whole picture for the Cats.”
If Alabama and Auburn are out of the New Year’s Six Bowls, they’ll likely end up in the Citrus or Outback Bowls, which could knock Kentucky down the pecking order and put the Belk Bowl back in the picture; however, in updated projections, ESPN’s Mark Schlabach still has the Cats in the Gator Bowl vs. Wisconsin and CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm has Kentucky playing Michigan in Jacksonville. How’s that for a hell of a matchup?
As for the playoff picture, Ohio State, LSU, Clemson, and Georgia make up the top four in the rankings, while Utah and Oklahoma lurk at No. 5 and No. 6. The final rankings, and therefore all of the bowl pairings, will be released on Sunday.
Tyrese Maxey and Kahlil Whitney did the Mop Challenge
I don’t know what the Mop Dance is or why people are recording videos of themselves doing it, but it’s a thing. Tyrese Maxey and Kahlil Whitney posted their version on social media earlier this week, which SLAM shared on Twitter.
Tag a homie you'd do this challenge with ?

Only a few more days until Season 3 of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
Season three of the critically-acclaimed comedy drops on Amazon Prime on Friday and I cannot wait. Even though the show has won 16 Emmys and three Golden Globes, it feels like no one besides myself, my sister, and Drew Franklin watches it, so the rest of you guys should catch up. At the very least, watch the Catskills episodes in Season 2 so you can enjoy the glory of Tony Shalhoub’s workout romper.
KSR Dog of the Day
Meet Rupp the Husky, a very good boy.
