The Wildcats will have a Special Visitor for Tonight’s Game

That’s right, Anthony Davis will be in the building for tonight’s game in Baton Rouge.  The New Orleans Pelican told Brett Dawson he “definitely will be in attendance” to watch the Cats beat down Ben Simmons.

A former #1 pick, watching his alma mater beat a future #1 pick.  Kenny Payne approves.

LSU will play like OKC tonight and we’ll be lucky to pull out a win; happens practically every year. That’s just the way the league likes it. After that, they will disappear into SEC obscurity as usual, and will be headed for the NIT. Same script, different season.

To kinda tag on the previous post… been thinking about this game and how lots of games fail to follow the “script” if you will… Simmons will be good I think – but unless timid lost UK shows up (and I think that team is gone now) I see someone breaking out tonight. Not sure if Skal, but could be.. or Alex or Murray. With so much on Simmon’s shoulders on this one, after he almost single-handedly beat Vanderbilt, I just see someone else emerging so say “I’m here too!”. Go Cats… don’t make me sweat tonight. No freaking Ohio State garbage.
