Of all the great things that happened Tuesday night, nothing topped what occurred after the game when most of Rupp Arena had already cleared out.
The team came back out from the locker room to meet some of the athletes from Special Olympics Kentucky at mid-court. There were 100 Special Olympics athletes, coaches and family members in the crowd as guests of UK Athletics and the Student-Athlete Advisory Council, and the team took time to meet all of them and pose for photos.
And theeeeeeen, our athletes got to spend some time with the @KentuckyMBB team after the game! Thank you @JonnyDavid and the @UKAthletics Student-Athlete Advisory Council for setting this up! pic.twitter.com/0OLtXmTaxZ

The win was a lot of fun, but the kindness that followed says a lot more about the team than a win over South Carolina.
