The screaming Pacers fan in The Last Dance – who went viral almost instantly after being shown shouting expletives from the stands in episode nine – has officially come forward.
After the airing, WISH-TV in Indianapolis caught up with Kathy Martin Harrison – a co-owner of a local car dealership and diehard Indiana Pacers fan – about her unexpected airtime from Game 3 of the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals on the Michael Jordan documentary.
“When they showed me, I was like, “Oh my goodness. Oh dear,”‘ Harrison said. “I looked over at [my husband] Mark and he looked at me. They showed me again, and we both looked at each other cracking up. He looked at me and said, “You can run, but you can’t hide!”‘
In two separate instances in episode nine, the Pacers fan was seen shouting curse words and expletive phrases.
“G** damn you! Oh, G** damn you!” she screamed in one clip.
“In your f***ing face! In your f***ing face!” she yelled in another.

“Everybody was texting me and sending screenshots of everything being posted saying, “You’ve gone viral!” she said in the interview. “I even got something from a friend in New Zealand. It was like, “Oh my goodness, what is going on here?”
Harrison then noted that she regularly got into it with various players when the Bulls came to town, specifically pointing out Dennis Rodman as someone she would get into screaming matches with.
“Michael [Jordan] was so totally cool, he would just turn around, look at me, shake his head, and laugh,” Harrison said. “But Dennis Rodman and I went at it every series. He and I would go back and forth at each other, all in fun. There was nothing mean, he wasn’t mad, I wasn’t mad, it was all in pure fun. A lot of the times he was supposed to be in the huddle, and he’s over there yelling at me.”
