The basketball team had a 3.13 GPA for the fall semester

Congrats to the UK basketball team, who posted a 3.13 GPA for the fall semester. Cal announced the news tonight. “That puts us on par to have five straight years with a B average. These kids work in the classroom, and I’m proud of them,” Cal tweeted. “They’re not only playing selfless basketball, they’re getting it done in classroom too, which makes me just as proud. #SuccessRate”

UK Athletics had a cumulative GPA of 3.112 this fall, which Mitch Barnhart says marks five semesters in a row and the sixth time in seven semesters that UK’s student-athletes achieved a 3.0 GPA.
