Your 2012 National Championship Kentucky Wildcats are the team of the decade. It is known.
The end-of-year stories crank up a couple notches at the end of a decade. In a March Madness 365 podcast, Andy Katz ranked the National Champions from the 2010s. Anthony Davis’ historic run at Kentucky took home the crown just ahead of the 2018 Villanova Wildcats.

As pleasant as it is to see Kentucky at the top of the rankings, it’s just as disheartening to see UConn at the bottom. John Calipari could have two more championship banners in Rupp’s rafters if not for Kemba Walker and Shabazz Napier.
