Team practiced early today so Cal can watch PJ Washington

basketball-practice

After taking Wednesday off for rest and the first day of classes, your University of Kentucky men’s basketball team was up bright and early for a 7 am practice session in the Joe Craft Center.

The reason for the early morning run?

So John Calipari can get out to Springfield, Missouri for the 2017 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions, where UK signee PJ Washington will play later today. Marvin Bagley, the top junior in America, is set to play in the game following Washington, so Cal will likely stick around for that one.

Yesterday Cal checked in on Mohamed Bamba, Quade Green and Cameron Reddish in Pennsylvania.

Hustle hard, Cal. Hustle hard.
