Team honors Isaac Humphries with new pregame ritual

FullSizeRender 12

Seeing Isaac Humphries get the start tonight after his technical for spiking the ball against Texas A&M was enough to get the Rupp Arena crowd on their feet, and the team honored Isaac before this game with a new addition to the pregame dance circle:

Humphries’ reaction is priceless.

Can this become a thing? Please let this become a thing.

I hope we draw A&M in the SEC tourney. This team plays possessed when they are motivated and I do believe that game will provide all the motivation we need.

Did Briscoe or anyone else check whether this could be called a technical for unsporting conduct? Refs can call technical fouls before the game begins, like they used to do for dunks during warm-ups. If it’s an unsportsmanlike act during the game, why not before?

Someone better get a ruling on this before we try to make it a thing.
