Streaks to Snap, and Continue, Against MSU

Skal’s Skid- 6 games in a row Skal has not scored in double-figures.  Even if he doesn’t reach that, he needs to make sure he doesn’t go 3 games in a row with less than 3 points.

Turnover a New Page–  7 games in a row the Cats have committed double-digit turnovers.  Only twice during that time has UK had fewer assists than turnovers.

Murray for Three–  Jamal Murray can be streaky from behind the line, but he’s hit a 3-pointer in every single game as a Wildcat.

Sub-40–  UK allowed opponents to shoot better than 40% four games in a row until the trip to Alabama.  Hopefully they can contain Malik Newman and MSU’s guards to below 40% to start a new streak.

Home Cookin’–  A win would give Kentucky 30-consecutive wins at Rupp Arena.  They must protect this house.

Point God–  Tyler Ulis has had at least 5 assists in 4 straight games.  It’d be nice to have 5 for 5 (sorry, Wendy’s).

Lucky Number 13–  Consecutive games Jamal Murray has scored in double figures.  Tonight should be #14 against the guy the BBN wanted before Murray came into the picture.

Jamal Murray is currently statistically tied with Brandon Knight for UK’s all time Freshman PPG average.

I’m assuming I’ll be seeing this article on KSR later this evening.
