Last night, John Calipari released a PSA encouraging fans to vote on November 3, but it was another part of the video that has the Big Blue Nation talking this morning.
Calipari begins the video by telling fans, “I know you’ve been waiting for me to talk,” but the next segment is intentionally sped up so you can’t understand him. Kentucky fans being Kentucky fans, they cracked the code. Last night, UK fan Tate Renzenbrink slowed the video down and posted it on Twitter so you can hear what Cal was saying. And it sounds like he was taking a shot at Louisville coach Chris Mack, aka “the guy out west.”
“Let’s start with this. How about these guys? How about this guy here in the Finals. Are you? What! Yeah. It is crazy right now. Scheduling? The guy out west, he’s nuts. He’s out of his mind!”
Jon Hale of the Courier-Journal also tweeted a slowed-down version of the video this morning, leading to mass speculation online.

The comments, of course, refer to the back-and-forth over the Kentucky/Louisville game this season. Last week, Mack posted a video saying he will do “what’s most convenient for John and his program,” a backhanded agreement to play the game on Calipari’s time, and airs some dirty laundry over scheduling.

Calipari’s response at the time? A tweet saying, “See you December 26th! Can’t wait!”
Yeah, this response is way better than that.
