Shai Gilgeous-Alexander wins SEC Tournament MVP; Gabriel and Knox also on All-Tournament Team

To no one’s surprise, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been named SEC Tournament Most Outstanding Player.

The star freshman had 29 points on 10-16 shooting, seven rebounds, and three assists in Kentucky’s victory today.

Gilgeous-Alexander, Wenyen Gabriel, and Kevin Knox each made the All-Tournament Team, as well.

Yeah. I love soccer (more than basketball) but DC UNITED is not anywhere close to more entertaining than the UK trophy ceremony.

Young is a super star. He did the right thing going to a school which gave him freedom to do what ever the heck he wanted. He would have been miserable playing for Cal where he would have had to share the ball. It was a win win for him to go to the Sooners.
