San Francisco stuns Virginia for first top-five win since 1981

@ESPNStatsInfo

We have our first major upset of the college basketball season.

San Francisco, who just lost to UMass Lowell by a final score of 76-68 on Wednesday, has defeated No. 4 Virginia.

Coming in as 15-point favorites, Virginia fell to San Francisco by a final score of 61-60 to give the Dons their first win against a top-five team since 1981.

For Virginia, it’s the first time they’ve lost to a non-major conference team since the 2018 NCAA Tournament when they suffered a historic first-round loss to No. 16 seed UMBC as a No. 1 seed.

College basketball, man. Nothing beats it.

    Virginia always seems over rated even the year they won it all.

      That and that was not a foul on the three point shot. Remember the foul they called that won them the game?
