One of the most talented college basketball players to enter the transfer portal in years is well on his way to becoming a Kentucky Wildcat.
West Virginia forward Oscar Tshiebwe (pronounced SHOOB-way) entered the transfer portal last week. Jeff Goodman reports Tshiebwe is leaning towards committing to Kentucky. Goodman’s report comes a day after Tshiebwe met virtually with Kentucky’s coaching staff.
Many initially believed Miami was the most likely destination for the 2019-20 second team All-Big 12 selection. KSR’s Jack Pilgrim pumped the brakes on that narrative and shared that Tshiebwe wants to make a quick decision. It’s also worth noting that Kentucky was the runner-up in Tshiebwe’s initial recruitment.
With Daimion Collins already in the fold, John Calipari could have one of his best frontcourts at Kentucky if Tshiebwe ultimately exits the transfer portal in Lexington.

Make this happen!
Bueno
I will do
So, it’ll be Big O, then?
Big Shoo, maybe…?
I’m guessing that whatever his reasons for leaving WVU are, it’s something that isn’t horrific and is just a headache Huggy Bear’s ok with being gone, because if it were really serious, I doubt Cal would be bringing him in since he’s close to Huggins.
Yes!!!!
He should try to transfer to some school that has tournament potential.
Shut up you miserable pos
Sounds too good to be true. We’ll see what happens!
