REPORT: De’Aaron Fox will enter the draft, sign with an agent

852a5010

Here’s some news that won’t surprise you. Jon Rothstein is reporting that De’Aaron Fox will enter the draft and sign with an agent. Fox is projected to be a top five pick by many services, so this is a no brainer, especially since he was spotted in Los Angeles this weekend, where he presumably met with some agents to get the the process rolling.

Best of luck to De’Aaron, who will go down as one of the fastest point guards in UK Basketball history. If not for a guy named John Wall, he’d probably own that title outright.

UPDATE: De’Aaron Fox says not so fast… (although he may just be questioning Jon Rothstein’s sources)

UPDATE x 2: Fox deleted that tweet. So, make of it what you will. Also, here’s the link to Rothstein’s full report.

I don’t recall ever seeing a player in this team’s entire history named Daren Fox at any position. Most of us who can read and spell do however recall a De’Aaron Fox…

Bam retweeted Fox before it was taken down.

Looks like the guys are going through the normal “unfinished business” conflict, but I expect them all to go in the end.

They owe it to themselves and their families to go. If you’re a lottery pick, it’s just about a have-to case.

Agree 100%…if you are in the lottery, go, go, go! Time to make the money and you can always come back to school!
