Breaking news: according to LEX18, De’Aaron Fox and Bam Adebayo were involved in a car accident around 1 p.m. this afternoon on Nicholasville Road that sent one person to the hospital. Thankfully, neither suffered injuries.

A UK spokesman has confirmed that Bam and Fox were just passengers and not hurt, and were on the way to a team meeting on campus. After the wreck, they called a friend to get a ride to the meeting, after which police came to the Joe Craft Center to question them. Via LEX18, no additional information is available at this time.

The meeting was at the Joe Craft Center, and police showed up at the Center to speak to Adebayo and Fox after the accident. No additional information about the accident is available at this time, but we’ll keep this post updated if more details come out.

It’s good that Fox and Adebayo are OK, and we’re hoping that the person sent to the hospital is OK as well (an update on their condition has not yet been given).
