Remember that time Patrick Sparks beat Louisville? That was cool.
“They called a foul! Ohhhhh! Ohhhh!! UNBELIEVABLE! UNBELIEVABLE!”
Never doubt a kid from Muhlenberg County with the rock in his hands. Muhlenberg gets it done.

For some reason, Patrick Sparks reminds me of Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) of Homeland.
I think it’s safe to admit Sparks traveled before he set up for the shot :). But Charles Jones should have been called for goal-tending in 1983 so we’re even.
Everyone always complains about the probably travel, but they seem to forget the egregious foul call on the opposite end the previous possession that gave them the lead.
Gerald Boudreaux was no friend to Kentucky that is for sure. He saw many phantom fouls against us that no one else could see. That game was only 10 years ago but look how much younger Pitino looks. UL has aged him worse the being president of the USA.
Karen Sypher probably had something to do with that. Amazing how much 15 seconds of indiscretion can age a fella!
Great game – we were down BIG at half, and that was a great comeback we don’t often talk about. Sparks – from the mean streets of Muhlenberg County. Ice cold from the line.
Saturday is going to be awesome.
UL fans are always complaining that Sparks walked on that play. All I can say to that is Garcia walked every time he touched the ball and he never had it called against him. Go back and watch some video of when he played, shuffled his feet whenever he received the ball.
I agree 100%…Garcia traveled all the time and it was never called. Also, what the hell is wrong with Vitale? All of his “oooh oooh oooh ooohs” makes it sound like someone knocked him down and was kicking him in the nuts.
uavel fans are idiots. They conveniently omit the Jared Swopshire knee to big Cuz’ head prior to his retalliatory and dominating facial forearm. They sweep under the rug the fact that Petrino pushed a Kentucky player (Woody Hayesian) prior to scuffling with Coach Dan Berezowitz. That’s how uavel fans roll. Always playing that ‘card’.
