Relive What It Feels Like to Beat Duke

Kentucky has been on the wrong side of the scoreboard 7 of the last 8 times dating back to the 1978 National Championship.  Each one of those losses has been hard to bear, but the victory in the 1998 South Regional Final takes away some of the burn.

Cameron Mills’ “Shot Heard Across the Bluegrass” gave the Comeback Cats the lead, with Scott Padgett solidifying the victory on a 3-pointer of his own. ¬†Relive the nostalgia with a Sportscenter highlight from the best of the best, Kenny Mayne and Dan Patrick.

Luckily we won’t have to live in the past much longer after Kentucky beats Duke tonight.
