So did anyone else see the blocking call against Kansas State with about 3 minutes left in the their game against Loyola. Same exact play that the zebra’s called Knox for the charge. Wish someone would show them side by side so everyone could see what the call should have been.

Agree, looked identical to the same side of the floor. I think underdogs get 50/50 calls.

Yes, I did. Exactly the same with the KState player moving into the Loyola player, as happened with Knox. There is no consistency on the block/charge.

Did anyone see the Loyola point guard WALK the ball up the court like he had a debilitating muscular disease? NO?!?!? You mean they got open looks in transition?!?!? IMAGINE THAT !!

Can we hire the Loyola coach. Guy’s not a perpetual tourney choker.

I’ve enjoyed watching Loyola this year; they hustle, hit the boards hard, and play great defense. But, this year lightening struck in a perfect storm for them. Years past under the coach that syrin23 wants were not so rosy.
What about it, syrin23..you like numbers like last year 18-14 and 8-10?
Year before that 15-17 and 7-11?
Fact is the best thing that happened for Loyola’s coach was Wichita State left the MVC, and he stole two players from Overland Park, Kansas that maybe KState should have recruited.
Syrin is a sore loser and a crybaby, and should be careful what he wishes for.

Great analysis rg. Facts are optional for syrin23. His summation of what should have happened is delusional. And he’s a bit of a sore loser too

The loss still stings but it’s starting to wear off! I’m excited to see who comes back and hopefully we make a run next year! #BBN

Did the loss to WVU wear off? How about to UConn? Wisconsin? IU? We should be known as “The team that loses to lesser talent every year”.

Yeah those all wore off too because there’s always next year! If you remember correctly, in 2011 uconn was #3 and we were ranked #4, in 2014 uconn was #7 and we were #8, and in 2015 Wisconsin was also a #1 seed in the tournament who had a great deal of talent so none of those teams would’ve been considered lesser talented than uk in my opinion. There’s upsets in the tournament every year. Just ask Michigan state. So I wouldn’t consider a team who has 8 national championships to be famous for losing to lesser talented teams. #BBN

Once again facts are optional for syrin23. He just likes to rant.

Sorry, it was hard enough the first time around and I do not want to watch it again. As for our loss, 51-34 in fouls and charges verses blocks on Knox made the end to the season hard to take. There is not a team in the tournament that we could not beat or lose too!

And THAT is on coaching. If we have the talent to beat ANY team, then the ability to lose to any team sits squarely on Cal’s shoulders, and it is getting REALLY f’ing old losing to teams whose players WKU wouldn’t look at.

Actually it is really old listening to your nonsensical drivel… going from post to post and saying the same thing over & over… Give it a rest, dude!!

    • Amen Steel! We get it, you don’t like Cal for some reason. By all means, do yourself a favor, find the coach you like and cheer for that team!

Alexander walking the ball up the court was probably the most frustrating thing to watch in all my years as a UK fan

Do not worry the 8 million dollar man will provide a double digit loss team and no Final Four next year for the 4th in a row.
