“It just felt so amazing.”

After three years of fighting luekemia with chemotherapy, 13-year old Reece King is finished with treatment.  He was congratulated by many, including Coach Stoops and the basketball team during yesterday’s practice at the Joe Craft Center.

While fighting the disease, Reece has pledged to help others fight.  When the Make-A-Wish asked him what he wished for, it was to raise $1 million dollars so that other kids can have their wishes granted.  So far he’s raised about $200,000, with $125,000 coming from Coach Stoops.

His story is inspiring, showing courage that few possess.  Hear his message and give him a hand.
