Quickley repeats in 3-Point Contest, Maxey steals Dunk Contest

Immanuel Quickley defended his Big Blue Madness 3-Point Championship crown, knocking out Tyrese Maxey in the final round. Quickley’s final round score of 24 was the highest single round score among all players, this year and last. He won it with an 18 in the championship round to defeat Tyler Herro in last year’s competition, the first of its kind at Big Blue Madness.

Maxey did not go home empty handed, though. The freshman out of Texas pulled off an upset in the Dunk Contest with a surprise victory over Kahlil Whitney and Keion Brooks, the two heavy favorites, as well Ashton Hagans.

Somehow Whitney did not win with this dunk:

Go Cats.
