Quade Green is “probably a game time decision”

John Calipari was asked about his starting point guard during Friday’s pre-Florida press conference, and his comments suggest Quade Green might be available tomorrow night against the Gators.

“We’ll see,” Calipari told reporters. “It’s probably game time, to see if he’ll get some minutes. It’d be nice if he could give us some minutes just so Shai can sit out five minutes a half or so, but we’ll see.”

When asked what Kentucky has missed in its three games with Green on the bench, Cal said, “One more perimeter shooter. One more guy who can make baskets. He leads, he talks. He’s one of the most talkative guys. It’s affected us, but it’s given us a chance to look at other things and other players.”

For what it’s worth, Green was spotted in practice gear before Friday’s practice, so that’s good.

Well FOK! We really need Quade. Put him in a back brace and send him out on the court.

It is most important that He get better for the rest of the year, not just Florida game! Big difference being at home verses on the road. With or without Green, i think we will play much better this game. Everyone has a lot of growing to do. It should be a great game either way!

I’ve had back spasms before, and there’s no playing through that chit. At least not at a high enough level to compete with Hopefully, he is back to full strength soon.

He’s got the best of medical care available. Maybe it’s something else. Just saying
