Price of basketball tickets going up

It’ll cost you a little bit more of your hard-earned money to attend a basketball game in Rupp Arena next season. Fans will see a slight increase in the price of tickets in 2015-16, ranging anywhere from $0-16 per game. The board approved the increase in a meeting earlier this afternoon.

Lower-level season ticket packages jump from $945 to $1,140; upper-level season tickets move from $840 to $950. The price of ice cream remains the same, as far as I know.

Even with the jump, UK season tickets are still cheaper than those at other top programs such as Duke, Kansas and UCLA.

Oh we talkin’ money?

Hmmm, I’d love to buy lowers at that price – can I do it without having to donate $500,000 to the K fund? Probably not.
