POLL: Will you watch the Final Four?

If a Final Four happens and Kentucky isn’t in it, does it really happen at all? Unfortunately, yes, but given the Cats’ loss to Auburn in the Elite Eight, I’m guessing a fair share of televisions in the Bluegrass State will not be tuned into CBS tomorrow night to see Auburn vs. Virginia and Texas Tech vs. Michigan State.

Will you watch the Final Four? I might tune in for some of the pregame stuff just to see what Charles Barkley does, but for the most part, I’ll be watching “Game of Thrones.” With just over a week until final season premiere, my husband I are woefully behind on our re-watch. Winter is coming, even if you have to slough through season five, y’all.

Your turn. Let us know how interested you are in the Final Four, and if you’re not watching, what you’ll be doing instead.

Final Four Saturday is one of my favorite sports days of the year, and just because Kentucky isn’t playing, doesn’t mean I won’t watch. People watch the Super Bowl without a rooting interest…And FF Saturday is way better than the Super Bowl, imo. It’s an event. I’ll be watching.

Absolutely. I am pulling for Auburn and TT. So glad Duke is out with the greatest shoke job in the history of college BB.

You have the best defensive team in Virginia playing Auburn who is one of the hottest teams offensively right now. Will be interesting to see which team wins that battle.

Virginia or TT defense will win this tourney

Love FF Saturday. Would be better with the Cats but it’s the best day in college basketball and maybe college sports.

The Final 4 is one of the best days of the year. Wouldn’t miss it regardless of who’s playing in it…

I will be doing exactly what you said. Re-watching G.O.T. with my wife. We actually already started. WINTER IS COMING! I do hope Auburn wins the whole thing now but I can’t stomach watching anymore of it.

Dude – I don’t judge. But rumor has it St. Peter is a KENTUCKY fan….and remembers the GOT binge.

I’m a basketball fan; and, I’ll be watching, should be some interesting games. Auburn won fair and square, for whatever reason.
No need to be a sore loser; just compare UK’s history to the history of the four teams that will be playing…they’ve never (or very seldom) been there before.

It will be on TV but watching it closely isn’t going to happen

A week ago=hell no, but now I will be watching and saying how we could beat all teams that are left in it. Missed opportunity

    3:56 pm April 5, 2019 Permalink

Since I won’t be watching Duke, UNC, or Kansas winning a title I may watch some.
Order of teams you would rather win:
    1. Auburn, slight edge because of SEC
    2. Texas Tech, zero competition with our recruiting and wouldn’t mind seeing an unexpected champ.
    3. ACC
    4. Don’t want Izzo to get a second title and we occasionally compete on the recruiting trail.

  14. bigblue98
    3:57 pm April 5, 2019 Permalink

Will watch as still basketball. Order that I want to see champs – 1 Tx Tech, 2) Mich St, 3) UVA, 4) Auburn. Don’t mind any of first three but don’t want to see Auburn. They cheated with Person and Pearl is sketchy at best with past show cause.

I might watch, I might not watch. It is still college basketball and will be good games possibly but it’s kinda like soy milk, it just doesn’t compare to the real thing.

Too painful. Unfortunately, I manage the office pool so I’ll have to at least pay attention.

Of course. The only game I was too hurt to watch was the 2015 Final. I was a basketball fan before I was a UK fan.

Cannot understand folks’ fascination w/Fred Flintstone AKA Bruce Pearl. Cannot stand the guy. If by some chance they win it will be vacated, I can guarantee that much.

Of course I’ll be watching the Final Four. What makes UK fans different from others is they not only love their Cats but also appreciate good basketball. As much as I do not like Pearl I’m rooting for the SEC and the guys that beat our Big Blue.

Why? The NCAA took my interest out of college sports with there decision on North Carolina Chapel Hill on October 13, 2017. I watch UK basketball, football, and baseball…that’s it. Nothing else matters. Lots of good books and grandchildren to spend my free time with.
