Papa John’s replaced by new pizza chain in Rupp Arena

Papa John’s pizza will no longer be served at Kentucky basketball games. The former official pizza of the Cats and its ‘Better Ingredients’ will be replaced by another pizza chain at Rupp Arena’s concession stands beginning this fall.

Hunt Brothers, a Kentucky-based pizzeria with offices in Bourbon County, has taken over the exclusive rights to feed all pizza cravings in Rupp going forward. Hunt Brothers will offer a Hunk-A-Pizza — a quarter of a large pizza with the option of cheese or pepperoni — to be served at six Rupp locations on the main and upper concourses.

The Herald-Leader reports Papa John’s did not look to re-up its deal as Rupp’s pizza provider, although two Papa John’s locations will remain in Commonwealth Stadium.

I’m not a fan of Papa Johns Louisville fandom, but Hunt Bros is gross, gas station pizza.

Isn’t a “quarter of a pizza” just a nice way of saying two slices?

My guess would be Schnatter is pulling out financially. This could be hit to UK donations. Didn’t Bevin just name Schnatter to the board at UL?

Hey UK Big Board Update, maybe you need to shut your d*cksucker and roll with the changes. Why would anybody want to sell something in that antique piece of dog crap? The Yum Center is state of the art and the best there is. It’s laughable that UL got money from the state to build it and KenSUCKy couldn’t. 🙂 By the way…They are gonna stick it in your football team so deep it will come out their mouths.

Cool story, bro…. I must have struck a nerve with you and your worship of a corrupt program the whole country is disgusted by. LOL 😀 😀 😀

By the way, our football fans almost feel what its like to be UL basketball fans getting owned by their rival. Almost.
