Old Man Reid Travis

Reid Travis is the rare veteran on Kentucky’s basketball roster this season. An “old head,” his teammate, PJ Washington, called him.

Travis already holds a degree from Stanford and will turn 23 years old next month, so he’s a little different than the typical player who comes to Kentucky straight out of high school and bolts for the NBA as soon as possible.

He also has strong eye contact whenever you speak to him, although, it can be very intimidating.

I asked his younger teammates about the stare and Travis’ old age:
