In a packed house with ESPN College GameDay in town, the No. 8 Kentucky Wildcats defeated the No. 9 Kansas Jayhawks by a final score of 71-63.
PJ Washington led the way with a ridiculous statline of 20 points (7-17 shooting), 13 rebounds, one assist, two blocks, and one steal.
Reid Travis also had a dominant performance, putting up 18 points (7-11 shooting) and 12 rebounds in the victory.
Keldon Johnson added 15 points (5-9 shooting, 3-4 from three) and ten rebounds, giving Kentucky the first trio of double-doubles since 2010 when John Wall, Patrick Patterson, and DeMarcus Cousins accomplished the feat.
Ashton Hagans rounded out Kentucky’s double-digit scorers, finishing with 12 points (4-11 shooting), two rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.
